Irwin Schtierman
Irwin “Stosh” Schtierman has been teaching in the Wicomico County Public Schools since 1992.  He has served as a Physical Education Teacher, Dean of Students, Conflict Resolution Specialist and is currently the Athletic Director at Wicomico High School and the AD Liaison for Wicomico County.  Through the years he has coached multiple sport teams both on the high school and college levels.

Stosh is a member of multiple committees for the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) and is currently the President of the Bayside Conference which is located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.  He is also the co- chair of the Wicomico High School safety team. He has had the honor of presenting at the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) national conference as well as the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association (MSADA) spring conference.

Stosh is a two time winner of the MSADA District VIII athletic director of the year award and was instrumental in helping Wicomico County Stadium win the 2014 Facility of Merit for Safety and Security Award from NCS4.  He  is also a Certified Athletic Administrator, receiving this designation in April of 2013.

He received his B.S in Physical education and his M.Ed in Administration from Salisbury University in Maryland.  He currently spends his summers at Kutsher’s Sports Academy a residential children’s camp in the Beautiful Berkshire Mountains where he is an Associate Director. Back Button
